   - Sewing techniques, stitches, seams, and introduction to sewing machines. 

5. *Computer Fundamentals for Fashion* 

   - Basics of MS Office, Photoshop, and Illustrator for design. 

 

*Semester 2: Core Design & Production Skills* 

1. *Pattern Making & Draping* 

   - Flat pattern drafting, body measurements, and draping techniques. 

2. *Apparel Manufacturing Processes* 

   - Cutting, stitching, finishing, and quality control. 

3. *Fashion CAD (Computer-Aided Design)* 

   - Using software like *Adobe Illustrator, **CorelDRAW, or **Optitex* for digital pattern making. 

4. *Surface Ornamentation* 

   - Embroidery, printing (screen, digital), and embellishment techniques. 

5. *Fashion Merchandising Basics* 

   - Introduction to retail, pricing, and inventory management. 

 

*Semester 3: Advanced Design & Technology*

   - Tailoring, couture techniques, and complex garment assembly. 

2. *Fashion CAD II (3D Virtual Prototyping)* 

   - Tools like *CLO3D* or *Browzwear* for 3D garment simulation. 

3. *Textile Chemistry & Dyeing* 

   - Fabric dyeing, printing methods, and eco-friendly practices. 

4. *Fashion Marketing & Branding* 

   - Consumer behaviour, branding strategies, and digital marketing. 

5. *Elective 1* 

   - Choose: Fashion Accessory Design or Fashion Photography.

   - Industrial machinery (cutting, sewing, pressing), lean manufacturing.
