   - Logic gates, combinational/sequential circuits, ADCs/DACs, PLDs, and VHDL basics. 

4. *Network Analysis and Synthesis* 

   - Network theorems, two-port networks, filters, and transient analysis. 

5. *Mathematics-III* 

   - Differential equations, probability, statistics, and numerical methods. 

6. *Lab Work* 

   - Electronic circuits lab, digital electronics lab, and programming in C/HDL.

 

*Semester IV (Second Year – Second Semester)*

1. *Analog Communication Systems* 

   - AM, FM, PM, modulators/demodulators, noise analysis.

   - Transfer functions, stability analysis, PID controllers, Bode/Nyquist plots. 

3. *Microprocessors and Microcontrollers* 

   - 8085/8086/8051 architecture, assembly programming, interfacing peripherals. 

4. *Electromagnetic Theory* 

   - Maxwell’s equations, wave propagation, transmission lines. 

5. *Engineering Mathematics-IV* 

   - Complex analysis, linear algebra, and optimization techniques. 

6. *Lab Work* 

   - Microprocessor lab, analog communication lab, control systems lab.

 

*Semester V (Third Year – First Semester)*

1. *Digital Communication* 

   - PCM, digital modulation (ASK, FSK, PSK), error detection/correction. 

2. *Power Electronics* 

   - SCR, TRIAC, inverters, choppers, SMPS, and applications. 

3. *VLSI Design* 

   - CMOS technology, FPGA, Verilog/VHDL, ASIC design flow. 

4. *Antenna and Wave Propagation* 

   - Antenna types, radiation patterns, microwave engineering. 

5. *Elective-I* (e.g., IoT, Robotics, Biomedical Instrumentation)

   - VLSI design lab, power electronics lab, digital communication lab.
